Radha's children’s yoga class is designed to incorporate Krishna and Bhagavad Gita stories with mindful movements. Different breathing techniques are combined with asanas to help encourage the development of leadership skills and to help each child build confidence and self-esteem. The class allows for children to have the unique opportunity to learn stress management techniques and to be introduced to the concept of self-care.
The combination of asanas, mudras, mantras, sound, meditation, and focused attention allows them to cultivate self-awareness and practice mindfulness. Radha's class is also designed to have physical benefits. Students will learn how to enhance their flexibility, strength, concentration, and sense of calmness. Practicing yoga early on helps children actively manage their stress and allows them to be continuously grounded when facing stress and conflicts. Radha's class is specifically designed to provide this sense of grounding to her young students in conjunction with spiritual awareness through Krishna and Bhagavad Gita stories!
