The process taught to write the speech will include:

• Researching the issue
• Looking at both sides of the issue, determining the pros and cons of the problem.
• Concluding and
• Supporting that conclusion with documentation.
• Writing the Speech
Along with the process, they will learn the skills of speech delivery - pitch, volume, tone, pace, enunciation, body language, and more. They will get opportunities to practice the speech before delivering it. An assessment checklist will be provided to ensure the speech script is written well and practiced well for delivery. Students will submit a speech script for review and get evaluated for their speech delivery.
Every week students will be assigned videos to review and hands-on & online assignments to complete after the class to reinforce learning. Parents are encouraged to join the virtual sessions and support the kids in the process.
