Odissi dance: Beginner I

Students will learn how to do Namaskar which is done at every start of the class.
The basic 10 steps will be taught in the 2 distinctive positions Chauka (the square stance)
And Tribhanga (3 bend stance) along with neck, hand, eye and head movements.
Various Mudras (Hand gestures) used in the dance form will also be taught in this class.
Students will also learn a few Bols that are used in the dances.
