This spring, join in on this free class as we set sights on a goal of completing 108 Sun Salutations by spring break!

Folks are free to set goals of 51, 25, or 11 Sun Salutations based on their individual preference and ability level.

Sun Salutations are composed of a sequence of 12 yoga postures, best completed at sunrise. If done rapidly, the sequence provides an excellent cardiovascular workout. Even if done at a slower pace, however, these postures help tone muscles and relax the body similarly to meditation. Regular practice of Sun Salutation is believed to improve function of the heart, liver, intestine, stomach, chest, throat, and legs – in other words, a solid regimen will greatly benefit your overall health, fitness, and well-being.

This class will start on 1/7 and end on 3/18 (Spring Equinox). Donations welcome.
