Shiksha Level 1: Discoverers

For Kindergarten and Grade 1

They’ll explore:

Hinduism through playful storytelling
Basic conversational Hindi through games and songs
Introduction to Indian musical instruments like manjira, shakers & dholak,

This level creates a space for children’s first connections to their vibrant cultural identity. Children begin to recognize Hindu values and practice them through simple, everyday actions.

Shiksha Level 2: Explorers

For Grades 2-3

Explorers begin connecting stories and teachings from Gita to their own lives. Through role-play, partner activities, and familiar situations, students learn to explain ideas in their own words and recognize how their Hindu identity guide everyday choices.

Foundational understanding of what it means to be a Hindu
They will learn functional spoken Hindi and sentence-building
Group music sessions of  Dholak, Shakers, Manjira & Harmonium
Group activities to build confidence, curiosity, and friendships.

At this level students understand how Hindu teachings relate to their lives and begin making choices guided by those values

Shiksha Level 3: Thinkers

For Grades 4 & 5

Thinkers move beyond learning the lesson to examining what it means. Through challenges, group discussions, journaling, comparison, and creative projects, students learn to question thoughtfully, consider different perspectives, and apply Hindu wisdom to real-life situations.

They’ll engage in:

Deeper understanding of how to practice their Hindu values in everyday life
They will learn functional spoken Hindi, alphabets and sentence-building
Group music sessions of  Dholak, Shakers, Manjira & Harmonium with simple bhajans
Small projects and reflective group discussions that connect values with everyday life

This level students become thoughtful, confident young Hindus who can question, explain, and apply Hindu wisdom independently

Shiksha Level 4: Young Leaders

For Grades 6, 7 & 8

Young Leaders engage with Hindu teachings through discussion, debate, original passages, contemporary ethical questions, peer teaching, and leadership projects. Students are encouraged to think independently, form well-reasoned positions, and use Hindu wisdom responsibly in their relationships, decisions, and communities.

They’ll engage in:

Deeper understanding of Hindu values thru stories, group activities and projects
They will learn functional spoken Hindi, alphabets and sentence-building
Group music sessions of  Dholak, Dhol, Shakers, Manjira & Harmonium with simple bhajans
