Balaka B. Ghosal, aka Brinda at Radha Madhav Dham, is a passionate story teller and published author who views the kaleidoscope of life through the spiritual knowledge of Hinduism she has been receiving at Radha Madhav Dham. A former 5 th grade teacher of the Houston ISD, she started out her career as a journalist many years back in India. Her articles were published in several well-known newspapers of India. Maybe that’s why she likes to learn and teach by asking questions and digging deeper until she finds the answers. This process, she believes, helps to bridge the children’s right and left brains, making them strong, lifelong learners. Passionate about the environment, Brinda has evolved as an environment writer. She lives a simple, nearly-zero-waste lifestyle, finding fulfillment in extending her spiritual awareness in her role as an environment enthusiast. This anchored mindset helps her find a stable balance being an empathetic, happy-with-less soul, finding deeper solutions to life’s apparent obstacles. Brinda is passionate about teaching the spiritual treasures of Hinduism, through questions, stories, analogies, and hands-on activities to trigger the young minds to understand the mysteries of life’s uncertainties. She believes in early learning of these wisdom nuggets.
Brinda always looks forward to teaching the secrets of healing spirituality that helps herself see the blessing of life in everything she
does every day. She tries to share her time between her home in Houston and Radha Madhav Dham, infused with books, yoga, zero-dig gardening, and chanting meditation, to say nothing of the peacocks that charm everyone with their stately gait and colors.
