Jyoti is currently teaching at the Dekalb county school system of Georgia. Over the years of teaching, her experience is that bilingual students are good at multitasking, they are more aware of other cultures and learning multiple languages gives them an academic advantage improving their competitiveness. She is passionate about teaching English to the speakers of other languages. Jyoti also taught Marathi in Balvihar school run by VHP in Atlanta area, for some time.

She is a life long learner and believes in benefits of learning a foreign language.
