Akhila/ Marianne has been a Science Teacher/ Outdoor Educator for more than 20 years. She graduated with honors from the University in Osnabrueck and has got a Bachelors Degree in Science and German, also a Masters of Arts in Teaching. She achieved a teaching certificate for PA through the Education Department in Harrisburg. Akhila won the Edcuation Award in 2015 and has attended several workshops during recent years. Her biggest passion is to inspire kids to love science and nature. She has been a public school teacher for more than 12 years and taught in several learning centers, camps, workshops for over 20 years. Akhila loves to be with her family outdoors or in her garden. Her two boys take her on adventures every day!
