Sachi Kulkarni is an experienced writer and teacher who strives to show her students how to find joy in writing. She recently graduated from Westlake High School in May 2020 with honors and is a student at UT Austin majoring in Public Health on a Pre-Med track. She scored in the top 1% on the ACT and has achieved 5's (the highest score) on 5 AP tests, including AP English Language and Composition. Her experience as a Model UN delegate has won her awards such as Best Delegate at Austin Area Model UN 2019 and taught her public speaking and communication skills. In the past, she has submitted writing to national contests such as the National YoungArts Foundation and has gotten the opportunity to present her writing at the annual Badgerdog Summer Camp Book Introduction. She is passionate about teaching writing as writing is a necessary skill for all fields!
