Beginner Origami for Kids and Adults

This class is hands-on, and each of the students will learn how to build origami models with various techniques.
What is Origami?
Origami is the art of folding paper without using glue, tape, or scissors. It started in Japan during the 6th century, with the traditional models that we all know and love, like the crane! But someone named Akira Yoshizawa saw that there was so much more to this traditional art, and revolutionized Origami. So right now, Origami has changed and has become much more than what it traditionally was! Concepts in Origami have been used in Nasa, and for other research areas.
